
Isis de Lázaro Cubillas is a Cuban artist who born in 1964 in Havana. As part of a long legacy of Caribbean artists, she started to study art when she was eleven years old, and since then her professional career has grown without limits.
In 1983 she graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts San Alejandro, in Havana. In 1993, she finished the university studies in Plastic Education.
Isis lives and works in Havana, Cuba. Since 1991 she is a plastic artist member of the Cuban Fund of Cultural Assets.
Belonging to the generation of the 80s in Cuba, she is the owner of a work that ranges from a critical lyricism to very personal surrealism.
